We had a great day of showing today, with Tango winning Reserve Challenge, up against some pretty stiff competition! Needless to say, Marie is thrilled!



He's looking fabulous right now... fingers crossed he doesn't decide to drop his coat any time soon!

Dogs NSW Fundraising Show 15th February

We braved the rain to attend the show on Sunday evening, with occasional heavy downpours right at the worst moments ! We still had a great time though, as always!



Tango is looking fantastic..! What a difference a month has made to his coat...



Miss Dakota won her class but missed out on a group win this week...



 

Emilee was thrilled to win 3rd in the Juniors competition..

Wash Out

Well we're supposed to be at a show this afternoon... but the rain has been constant for the last 24 hours... so we won't be going. We're entered for tomorrow night as well, so fingers crossed the rain subsides by then! This will be Tango's first show for several weeks, so we're looking forward to it!
I neglected to update the blog last weekend... but with the heat, I had no energy to wander & take pictures.. but Dakota did very well last Sunday with a Minor in Group win!



It looks like poor Aspens coat is starting (just starting mind you! ) to come back in... We'll see how quickly or slowly he has it back. This was taken last week with his litter sister, Jazz. This is the first time they've been together since they were 10 weeks old!



Here's hoping we can show tomorrow!

Berry Show Weekend, 31st Jan & 1st Feb 2009

The heatwave continues in southern Australia this summer... Saturday was the hottest of the two days, making things uncomfortable for both exhibitors & dogs alike. Please forgive the lack of photos this update, it was simply too hot to walk around for too long!

The town of Berry itself is gorgeous... full of old time charm.



Dakota was the only dog to make the trip... with Minor of Breed both days, as well as Reserve Challenge on Saturday...

Temperatures for next weeks shows are forecast to be even hotter.. so again, a decision to attend will have to wait until the morning of the show... fingers crossed this heatwave breaks before then!!
